I am a Senior Economist and Deputy Head of the Macro-Finance Section in the Directorate General Financial Stability at the Deutsche Bundesbank. In addition, I serve as an Associate Editor at Empirical Economics and teach Financial Stability and Regulation at the Goethe Business School of Goethe University Frankfurt.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Maastricht University (2011) and my M.Sc. in Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest (2008). My research focuses on empirical macroeconomics, with an emphasis on globally relevant challenges related to monetary policy, financial disruptions, geopolitical risks, and trade protectionism.
