NOCO GTC Advocate Spotlight

The NOCO GTC Advocate Spotlight award is new for NOCO GTC.

We created this award to thank and showcase the efforts of individuals who make a difference in the lives of Gifted students or GT educators.

Our second NOCO GTC Student Advocate Spotlight Award was awarded to Kendra Vair today at Conrad Ball Middle School. Three years ago when we had students design and describe their vision of an ideal classroom or school they drew and described very unique environments. The number one response was no more desks.

Educator Kendra Vair, on her own, in innovative & cost efficient ways, transformed her classroom to provide optimal learning spaces FOR ALL students.

We applaud Kendra for her dedicated efforts and out of the box thinking to do great things for students everyday! Thank you.

Our first awardee is Candice Ingold of Thompson School District. Candice is the Director of the Loveland Integrated School of the Arts (LISA) program in Thompson. She has partnered with us to support the GT teachers, GT students and LISA students making creative centerpieces for the State GT conference in Loveland the past two years and helped coordinating with us the student musical performances with their amazing directors as well.

Thank you Candice for all your efforts in supporting students in Thompson.
