  • Main points

    • total number of people allowed in the venue must be kept under a certain threshold [in principal 25, but can be higher, in order to ensure that meet can be held], i.e., 12 fencers per team, coaches, and official

    • total number of people present must not exceed 25% of the facility’s capacity or 150 persons, whichever is less. Remember that there needs to enough space for everyone to have at least 6 feet of separation.

    • NO spectators

    • EVERYONE is required to PROPERLY wear masks at ALL times.

    • End of Season: Saturday, March 6, 2021

    • NO post-season events

Minutes from the 10/15/20 Coaches Meeting

We regret that neither the Cetrulo nor Santelli tournaments will take place this season. Hopefully, we will be able to resume these competitions in January 2022

REMINDER: Score Reporting with the Star-Ledger/ is MANDATORY. Consequences of failure to report scores: Schools lose voting rights if scores are not submitted within a week of the match. (in case of force-majeur, appeal to exec board). Voting rights will be restored if the school becomes compliant immediately after being warned.

Schools need to upload their rosters to by the first match of the season.

Minutes from the End of the Year Meeting can be found "Minutes" section of the website and the forums. A separate document of approved proposals will be prepared for clarity and distributed to all.

reminder - the NJIFA All-State teams [chosen by a consensus of the coaches] sometimes differ from the lists published by the Star-Ledger, which uses different criteria to select their teams.
