Good kayak fishing for Ling Cod, Kelp Greenling, Black Rockfish, other species of rockfish and good crabbing in the winter/spring. There are multiple colonies of Cormorants, Black Oyster Catchers, Common Murre, Pigeon Guillemots and lots of seasonal birds as well as Harbor Seal pupping grounds and resting areas. It is not uncommon to see Gray Whales from late winter through to the fall migration. Total distance is about 3.65 miles for the 2.5 hour tour. Rogue Reef
Tour Types: Saltwater Wildlife Viewing and Fishing
Tour Lengths: 2.5 and 4 hours minimum for fishing
Tour Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced (very weather dependent, call 541-373-0487 for scheduling this rare treat)
Cost: $90 and $140 for fishing
What to expect: Amazing offshore emergent rocks with a large kelp forest just off the coast of the town of Gold Beach. There is a Stellar Sea Lion colony as well as many California Sea Lions and Harbor Seals combined with a variety of sea bird colonies which makes the Rogue Reef a wildlife hotspot. The fishermen can catch a wide variety of fish from trophy Ling Cod to old growth Blacks to hefty Vermillion rockfish. The Rogue Reef is very diverse and due to the exposed nature of the place, tours are very weather dependent and very much worth the extra paddling. We highly recommend 4+ hours for fishing. We can provide 2 saltwater fly fishing rigs and 4 gear rigs for the fishing tours.
Kayaking The Arches Territory

Cost: $130
What to expect: The most amazing natural beauty of Samuel Boardman State Scenic Corridor which is full of secret coves, a ton of stunning paddle though arches, view of the tallest bridge in Oregon, lots of sea birds, marine mammals and kelp forests. The many Spruce covered islands and arches of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge offer amazing photography and some of the best ocean kayaking on the west coast or perhaps anywhere in the world....It's a bit of a paddle and also exposed to all the swells and winds of the south coast so tours are limited to only the most calm days of the year. Total distance is about 9.5 miles. Experience is required and is more physically demanding than most of the other tours. Consider getting on our *Weather Alert* list for notifications of perfect weather for this paddle.
