Step 7: To center the caliper, pull the lever five times, then hold.
Step 8: While holding the brake lever, tighten the caliper mounting bolts in an alternating sequence until torque is achieved.
Step 9: Release the lever. Spin the wheel and check for rotor drag. If drag is detected, loosen the caliper mounting bolts and repeat steps 7-9.
Step 10: Turn the brake pad adjustment knobs until the desired lever feel is achieved, and the gap between the rotor and the inboard pad is twice the amount of gap at the outboard pad.
Sluggish or weak lever feel? Use a 2.5 mm hex wrench to turn the torque arm preload adjuster clockwise.
Excessively firm lever feel? Use a 2.5 mm hex wrench to turn the torque arm preload adjuster counter-clockwise. If the lever feel is still excessively firm after adjusting preload, replace the brake cable and housing.
As the brake pads wear, turn the inboard and outboard brake pad adjustment knobs clockwise until the desired pad and rotor gap is achieved. Do not use the inline or lever barrel adjuster to adjust for pad wear.
(1) Dial inboard and outboard dials all the way out (counterclockwise)
(2) Loosen the caliper
(3) Turn inboard dial one full turn in (clockwise)
(4) Push the caliper against the fork to make sure it is seated against fork
(5) Turn outboard dial in (clockwise) so that the caliper is seated against rotor
(6) Tighten the caliper in alternating manner between two bolts
(7) Washers at bottom, tork them down
(8) Outboard dial turn it outward a few turns to reduce noise from that side
(9) Inboard dial turn it until no noise

Barrel adjuster: Dial it all the way in, and then out 3 turns
Loosen caliper
Tighten the inboard dial.
Tighten the outboard dial
Tighten the caliper - alternating
Adjust both dials alternating. You want 1/3 of the space to be on the inboard size and 2/3 of space to be on the outboard side.
Check lever and see how we did.
WIth barrel adjuster, if you screw it in it will go toward the bar.
