Island Arcs and Depressions

I personally do not believe in subduction hypothesis. Due to, I made attempt to explain Wadaty-Benioff zone of the Island arcs and depressions systems at the west of the Pacific ocean in non-subduction manner.

The basic ideas and the principal pros and cons regarding subduction hypothesis are revealed in the book “The New View of the Earth” written by Professor Seiya Uyeda.

For the beginners and enthusiasts popular, but precise explanation of the Subduction notions should be viewed in the Andrew Alden’s site.
