I am an Assistant Professor of Finance in the College of Business at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. My research focuses on venture capital and private equity. Prior to joining Nebraska, I worked at Deutsche Bank Private Equity and Analysis Group and held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at San Diego State University and Indiana University, as well as a post-doctoral research associate at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. I received my diploma in business administration and my Ph.D. in Economics and Social Sciences, from the University of Cologne in Germany.

I teach Entrepreneurial Finance and Fixed Income Investments at the undergraduate level at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
