Ulf Nielsson is an associate professor of finance at Copenhagen Business School. Ulf holds a M.Phil. in financial economics from University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University in New York. His research focuses on financial markets, institutions and households. Ulf has received several awards for his international research contributions, such as the pan-European De la Vega prize, the Sapere Aude elite researcher award and the Tietgen gold medal. Ulf has also been repeatedly recognized for outstanding teaching, including at Columbia University, Copenhagen Business School and the University of Iceland. His research is regularly cited in the media and he periodically works as a consultant to the industry and the judicial system.
