Eureka Alert! - Regularly updated articles and news from the world of science. Broken down by subject, it even includes articles from the worlds of math, medicine,and policy & Ethics, to name a few. See, science is everywhere!
Fact Monster - A website providing many facts from different topics in science; some chronologically. You can also look up other topics (like math).
I ___ Love Science - Constantly updated website covering science stories in the news, as well as facts about different scientific phenomenon.
MadSci Network - A massive archive spanning all fields of science, with an extensive physics section. If you question has not already been answered in the archives, you can submit it and let experts from around the world take a look at it. An interesting site if you're just curious, as well.
NRCC - The National Research Council of Canada student science and technology page.
Science Daily - A site with updated news headlines and articles from different realms of science. You can even check out videos, images, and books!
Chemistry Links
DHMO.org - A site formed by the Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division (DMRD)that explains the controversy behind dihydrogen monoxide, current research, and the dangers the chemical poses. (Really, it is a site that attempts to exploit the general populations' scientific knowledge by putting a negative spin on water by using a chemical name for water, AKA dihydrogen monoxide - DHMO.)
Treasure World of Chemistry - A comprehensive site of many of the different branches of chemistry. While many of the concepts are very exact, there is great reading here!
WebElements Periodic Table of the Elements - A neat site that explores many of the the different properties of the elements of the Periodic Table. If you ever wondered what a certain element looks like, this is the site for you!
The Chem Team - A sight geared around tutorials, lessons, and videos for high school chemistry (Chemistry 11 and 12). There is a lot of excellent practice problems, worksheets, and examples.
