About Rugby NHW

WHO ARE WE?

We are a voluntary association entirely run by volunteers for and on behalf of its members.

WHAT WE DO

1.    Promote Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) as a        crime reduction scheme.

2.    Help set up individual NHW groups.

3.    Support NHW groups by giving help and advice and occasional           financial assistance.

4.    Encourage people to join a NHW.

5.    Hold regular General Meetings which the public may attend.               Attend local fetes & venues to help promote what we do and               encourage more people to get involved in helping the                          Community.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

1.    Engage in or encourage vigilante behaviour.

2.    Tell NHW groups what to do – we do not command them.

3.     Act in place of the police.
