Type a 1 to 2 page paper about an artist that you have chosen from the list to the right. Items to include (you can always add more):
1. About the Artist:
Artist Name
Country where the artist is from
Birthdate/Years alive
Type of Art (painter, sculpture, photographer etc)
Fun Facts
Art Style/Art History Movement associated with the artist (Impressionist, Renaissance..)
2. About the Artwork:
Choose one artwork by the artist and list:
the title and year it was created,
list elements of art that you see, describe the composition, colors used, principles of design used, how the artwork is organized
what the artist is trying explain/content/meaning in the artwork, what you think it means
fun fact about the artwork
3. Bibliography- list where you got the information from- all website addresses and the date you visited the site.

2. Don't forget about Destiny OPAC! The library has many books which will help you in your research, and the WEBSITES tab in Destiny will provide you with additional information from websites.
3. Finally, if you still need more information, try Sweet Search , Finding Dulcinea, or Infotopia, all great search engines for students!

Remember, the online databases and Destiny OPAC will create your citations for your BIBLIOGRAPHY, but if you use any other websites or search engines, you must write down all information including titles, authors, publisher, place and year of publication. If you need help, go to CITING YOUR SOURCES, on the library website for citation guides, citation machines and citation data forms.
