Praise The Lord;

 I am Pastor Richard McKay. I am originally from rural Columbus, Wisconsin. My wife, a native of Nebraska, and I moved to Hay Springs in June of 1999. We joined New Hope Friends Church in 2000. Donna is a teacher at the Rushville - Gordon School system, Gordon, Nebraska. I have retired from the restaurant business and am now full time Pastor and a retired veteran of the United States Navy. I was called to the ministry on January 13, 2011. I have served the congregation of New Hope Friends Church since January 16, 2011. New Hope Friends Church, while it has a small congregation, it has a large heart as prayer warriors. When we get together and begin to pray for others, we see changes daily. My favorite verses are Matthew 7:7 and Philippians 4:13. My advice to all is pray without ceasing, believing that God will answer prayer, knowing that it is His time and not ours that our prayer will be answered, and only according to His will for our lives.
