If you plan to write a check towards the purchase of uniforms, please make it payable to: Diocese of Newark. The memo section of the check should say: Prison Ministry.

How much does a uniform cost?

We are working with the two vendors our students use, Kids Place and Flynn O'Hara. Cost per uniform depends upon the child's age and the school's requirements.  Our plan is to pool the funds received in hopes of offering a regular uniform and a gym uniform per child, which could be $150 per child. Shoes would be additional. 

Backpacks and School supplies

Yes, we are collecting new backpacks and school supplies. Backpacks are important; our families are telling us it can be a challenge to buy the necessary school uniforms required by their schools.
