About the lecture

The lecture covers the basics of statistical hypothesis testing and multivariate analysis.
We will discuss
  • What is data distribution?
  • What is statistical hypothesis testing?
  • Why do we need statistical hypothesis testing?
  • How do we perform statistical hypothesis testing?
Technically, we will cover the following topics.
  • t-test (test of significant difference)
  • Analysis of variance (ANOVA) 
    - One-way ANOVA 
    - Two-way ANOVA
  • Multiple comparisons
