The Project

As part of an introduction to neurobiology class, students are encouraged to read and write about scientific literature.

Browse student submissions using the "Books" menu on the left side of the page.

Students to describe and evaluate the clinical cases presented by:

Dr. Oliver Sacks in his book "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat."

Dr. V. S. Ramachandran in his book "Phantoms of the brain: Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind"

Dr. Oliver Sacks in his book "Musicophilia: Tails of Music and the Brain"

Each student will discuss 1-2 clinical cases (chapters) presented in the book.

The purpose of this project is threefold:

1) Increase interest in science and learn about its history

2) Develop scientific writing skills

3) Promote critical thinking

Enjoy!
