Biology Technician (EXERPHYS 12-00)

The West Virginia University Research Corporation (WVURC) seeks to hire a Biology Technician in the department of Human Performance-Exercise Physiology at WVU. Incumbent will provide support for existing laboratory projects and assist PI with new projects and future goals of sensorimotor control studies of stroke and spinal cord injuries using brain-machine interface technologies. Responsibilities include the support for human and animal experiments, collection of results, keeping accurate records, performing the day-to-day duties to maintain the laboratory, and independently purchasing laboratory supplies.

A bachelor’s degree in biology, engineering or related; and, one to two years of laboratory experience working with laboratory animals required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for requisites.
