1) You have to be a boat owner to join club, or a non-boater if sponsored by a owner to fish tournaments with them.
2) The maximum number of members will not exceed 20, except old members in good standing.
3) There will be a total of 6 club tournaments per year. Only the best 4 tournaments will be counted for points.
4) All money 160.00 must be paid by the March meeting. Name will not be in drawing for tournament until paid. All members must pay entire tournament fees!
5) No alcohol will be allowed before or during a tournament. If drinking and fishing during tournament, will be disqualified for that tournament.
6)Club dues will be due at the November club meeting. Dues are 100.00(30.00 national dues, 35.00 state dues, 35.00 club dues).
7)Tournament payoffs will be: 1st place= 70% ; 2nd place= 30%. Club receives 10.00 from each entry. Big fish is an optional pot of 10.00 per person collected at club meeting prior to each tournament.
8) Year end rankings are on a points system instead of a weight system. In case of ties , person having caught the largest fish during the year will break the tie.
9)All members MUST notify the president or vice president at or before meeting prior to the tournament whether they intend to fish. FAILURE to do this will make member ineligible to fish the tournament and member will receive 0 points for the tournament.
10) Voting on a new rule or changing of an existing rule at a meeting will only be done at the president’s discretion.
11)In order to be eligible to fish the Mr. Bass and / or 6-man team tournament as a boat owner, the member must have fished at least 4 of the required club tournaments during the year as a boat owner.
12) Any person who wishes to fish Mr. Bass or Chapter Team Tournament (6-man) must have belonged to the National Federation and Va. Federation for 1 year prior to fishing either tournament.
13) Any member wishing to fish the following year must have all dues paid in full from past years.
14) Rule changes will be done at October club meeting.
