The Neapolitan Chapter meets at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on 625 111th. Ave N, Naples, FL, in the Claussen Center Building behind the Church. We have General Meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the months of Jan, Feb, Mar, Oct and Nov. at 9:30am.
The Neapolitan Chapter has Stitch-Ins on the first Wednesday of the month at the Shepherd of the Glades Church, which is at the corner of Santa Barbara and Rattlesnake Hammock Rd. We meet at 9:30 am in the Choir room of the church. These stitch-ins are only during our 'Season' of Oct-May.
On the fourth Wednesday of the month, the Chapter meets in the Clubside Reserve Clubhouse, in the Vineyards. There will also be a few stitch-ins on the 2nd Wednesday of a couple of the summer months, at members' homes. Please check the calendar for more specific information.

The Art of Needlework

This Biennial Exhibit showcases the beautiful pieces of embroidery that our members have done over the last 2 years. Many different types of embroidery are included like - Crewel, Needlepoint, Thread painting, Surface, Counted Cross-Stitch, and so on. There is a Boutique where you can buy handmade Christmas ornaments, books, threads, hoops, ribbons and anything embroidery related. We also have a 'Tea Cup' auction where tickets are bought and distributed into tea cups for one of the special embroidered pieces that are donated. Also, a demonstration table will be on hand so you can watch members do their magic. Come join us and be amazed!! We are the Neapolitan Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, and, as such, part of EGA's Sun Region which encompasses all of the Florida chapters and Bermuda. EGA's Mission: The mission of the Embroiderers' Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.

Chapter Outreach
The Chapter has recently started a new Outreach by making small felt hearts to give to hospitals, called "Hearts for Love and Kindness". The chapter hopes that the hearts help patients to know that someone is thinking about them in their time of need.
