      The Neapolitan Chapter meets at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on 625 111th. Ave N, Naples, FL,  in  the Claussen Center Building behind the Church.   We have General Meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the months of Jan, Feb, Mar, Oct and Nov. at 9:30am.  

   The Neapolitan Chapter has Stitch-Ins on the first Wednesday of the month at the Shepherd of the Glades Church, which is at the corner of Santa Barbara and Rattlesnake Hammock Rd.  We meet at 9:30 am in the Choir room of the church.  These stitch-ins are only during our 'Season' of Oct-May. 

On the fourth Wednesday of the month, the Chapter meets in the Clubside Reserve Clubhouse, in the Vineyards.   There will also be a few stitch-ins on the 2nd. Wednesday of a couple of the summer months, at members' homes.  Please check the calendar for more specific information.

The Art of Needlework Exhibit

On Feb. 1-3, 2023 our Chapter held our biennial exhibit at St. John the Evangelist

Catholic Church in Naples, Fl.  It was a wonderful show!  Below are some pictures from it.

Pictured above are the People's Choice Winners - Left to right - 3rd. place tie - Luan Callery's Great Horned Owl (Needle painting -held by Kathy Egan), and Lilianne Rivera, holding her stool - Roger the Rhino, 2nd Place is Trini Folliot holding her The Great Silence, and 1st. Place is Chris Zogus with her Big Owl.  

We are the Neapolitan Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, and, as such, part of EGA's Sun Region which encompasses all of the Florida chapters and Bermuda.  EGA's Mission: The mission of the Embroiderers' Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.


     Chapter Outreach  

 For over a decade, members have stitched "Home Sweet Habitat" samplers which are framed and presented to the new owners of Habitat for Humanity homes at their dedication ceremony.
