We always welcome talented postdoctoral and graduate candidates. Graduate students from any related program (including Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Electronics, Materials, etc. ) interested in research opportunities with the laboratory should contact Prof. TH Kim for an appointment to discuss available projects. Graduate candidates at all other universities are welcome to contact Prof. TH Kim and need to apply for admission to Soonchunhyang University. We are seeking postdocs with electrochemical sensor background.

 The main research interest of our group has been in molecular recognition. Molecular recognition, also refered to ‘host-guest chemistry’, and ‘inclusion phenomena’, is an important characteristic in a wide range of chemical and biological processes. Understanding the fundamental principles governing molecular recognition is invaluable in the context of biochemistry and material science. Our research focuses on development and application of detecting/sensing tools for solving biological and chemical problems. We believe that some of the fundamental questions in biochemistry, such as molecular recognition can be answered with the help of those tools.
