General instructions
- Presenters will have 35 minutes each to give their presentation, and 10-15 minutes will then be allowed for questions and answers. Please note that presentations and questions are not allowed to run over their allotted time.
- All presenters should be sure to speak directly into the microphone at all times during the session. This will ensure that all participants can clearly hear the presentation and ensure live-streamed and audio-recorded sessions are being clearly recorded.
- The detailed schedule of the conference will be announced on the website in December.
- Presenters should send the abstract of the presentation to icsgdec2021@gmail.com or nguyenhien1901@gmail.com by December 15th, 2021 at the latest.
Instructions for attending presenters
- Please arrive 15 minutes at least before your session starting time in order to set up (and coordinate) your presentations in a timely manner.
- Please don’t forget to take an extra copy of your presentation to the conference (USB-stick and/or send it to your Gmail address) and ensure that your presentation is saved in either a PDF or *.ppt / *.pptx format.
Instructions for virtual Participants: Non-attending presenters
For speakers who can not make it to the conference at NCKU, the presentations are performed online, with presenters either live-streaming their presentations via the Webex or providing pre-recorded presentations.
*Please login to check the connection before your session starting time
Pre-recording your presentation:
This is the best option to avoid unexpected problems occurring during the workshop. Speakers pre-record their presentations and upload them to platforms like Google Drive, One Drive, etc. and send that link to the organizer via email: icsgdec2021@gmail.com
However, speakers should follow the process of the organizers replaying your videos so that the audiences can ask some questions at any time.
