QDL is joining a Nation-wide Project on Quantum Technology: Building a scalable superconducting quantum computer, from the year of 2022 to 2028. For this goal, we are looking for prospect postdoctoral fellows, PhD and master students, and undergraduate students who are interested in hardware technologies for quantum computers.
We conducted the first quantum gating experiment on superconducting qubit made in Taiwan. The device was fabricated with the collaboration of Chien-Han Chen, Prof. C. S. Wu, and Prof. H. Shimada.
Our alumni Dr. Saxon Liou was interviewed by the Physics Bimonthly and other media for his outstanding achievement on stock market analysis.
Congratulation to Yu-Xun Su for getting 2018 undergraduate student paper award from Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan. His work is on the human pulse sensing using gold-nanoparticle strain sensors.
Congratulation to Wei-Wun Jheng for awarded poster presentation at 2018 Annual Meeting of TPS(Physical Society of Taiwan).
Congratulation to Vanna Chrismas Silalahi for awarded poster presentation at 2017 Annual Meeting of PSROC(Taiwan).
Congratulation to Yun-lian Hsieh for getting 2014 Wu Chien-Siung Scholarship from the Physical Society of Republic of China.
Congratulation to Wei-Chen Chien for awarded poster presentation at 2015 Annual Meeting of Physical Society of Republic of China.
Congratulation to Yu-Zhan Lin for getting 2015 undergraduate student paper award from Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He studies coupled double split ring resonators and complementary split ring resonators.
Congratulation to Dr. Yuan Liu for getting the faculty job in Department of Physics, Jiangsu University. Dr. Liu conducted research in our lab as an exchange PhD student for 1.5 years in 2010 and 2012.
Yun-lian Hsieh's work on CVD graphene titled as "Enhanced Raman Spectrum of Chemical Vapor Deposited Graphene on Sub-micrometer Membranes" wins the best student poster award in 2013 NIMS conference.
Dr. Saxon Liou received 2012 merit PhD thesis award from the Physical Society of ROC.
QDL is recruiting for a post-doctoral fellow position to carry out research on quantum computation and quantum optics experiments based on superconducting devices.
