Congratulations to Haley Quickel (2020) for her big win at the 2019 Optimist International Junior Golf Championships (THE OPTIMIST).
Haley, daughter of Blaine and Sheila Quickel, hails from the state of Delaware. Haley qualified for the OPTIMIST each of the last three years at a NC East District Qualifier (the "PKBGT's Masters presented by Aunt Ruby's Peanuts"). Haley participated in the OPTIMIST in 2017 and 2018 at PGA National and in 2021 at Doral Resort, Miami where she was medalist in the Girls 15-18 Year Age Division. Haley also won the OPTIMIST Long Drive competition and the award for the low round for the day.
