This section contains information on VISTA Performance Evaluations.
Evaluations are useful for supervisors to review VISTA performance and identify areas for future growth. There are evaluations for the supervisor to complete, as well as self-evaluations for VISTAs to complete. This is an opportunity for self-assessment. Once the supervisor and the VISTA have both completed the forms, they should meet to discuss the evaluations. VISTAs and Supervisors should complete these evaluations at one-month, mid-year, and the end of year points. Supervisors and VISTAs may wish to include community partner staff or student leaders in the evaluation process.
Please follow these steps to complete the evaluation:
1. Supervisor AND VISTA each complete the evaluation form separately
2. Meet together to discuss
3. Create/Update progress on performance goals
4. Supervisor completes final evaluation, print, both VISTA and Supervisor sign
5. Send an electronic copy to NC Campus Engagement, and keep a copy to review at future evaluations
