Our Ministries and Activities

Newport Baptist Church offers activities for everyone that emphasizes spiritual growth and building personal relationships.

Wednesday Night Bible Study and Prayer Meeting: Each week we gather for an interactive Bible study that centers upon spiritual growth or overcoming personal difficulties. The group also prays on the first Wednesday of the month specifically for personal, church, community, and global needs.

Senior Luncheon: Each month the church serves a special luncheon for the seniors of the church and community. Pastor Dave shares a devotion at the luncheon. The meal is free.

Married Couples Fellowship: Throughout the year couples in the church gather at a host home for a time of study, encouragement, and fellowship. The purpose of this group is to enrich and strengthen marriages within the congregation.

Pot Luck: On the last Sunday of each month, during the school year, our church family joins together for a meal after the morning worship service.

The church also hosts picnics, ice cream socials, meal and movie night, swimming parties, family camping trips, and much more!

Women’s Ministries: The ladies of the church periodically meet to explore God’s Word and discuss current issues facing women. Each year we also organize a weekend retreat to Stowe, Vermont where the women interact with a nationally renown speaker and enjoy fellowship together.
