Nandana Sengupta
I am an Assistant Professor at IIT Delhi's brand new School of Public Policy where we hope to bridge the gap between social scientists, policymakers and technologists in India.
Prior to this I was Assistant Professor at the School of Policy and Governance in Azim Premji University, a postdoctoral scholar at the Knowledge Lab at University of Chicago and a PhD student in Economics at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
My research lies at the intersection of applied machine learning and economics, with a particular focus on Indian labour markets, survey design, adaptive surveys and algorithmic bias.
My teaching experience includes quantitative courses at the graduate and undergraduate level including courses on Data Science, Impact Assessment, Regression Analysis and Network Analysis.
