WHO ARE WE

We are HO scale modelers who enjoy sharing the hobby with other beginner or experienced modelers.

HOW WE GOT STARTED

Nampa Model Railroad Club was started in 1999 with a father/son who wanted to share their experience with other modelers.

In 2006, Nampa Model Railroad Club and IDA-HO Model Railroad Club merged and brought two groups of people with one interest together to continue sharing their experience with others.

In November 2009, we celebrated 10 years as a club.

WHAT WE DO

We meet to operate trains on our permanent layout and modular layout. We also have regular work sessions on both layouts.

We use Easy DCC with 7 amp boosters for our command control system.

WHEN DO WE MEET

We meet every Saturday at 1 pm - 3 pm.

DO WE HAVE FEES

We have monthly membership dues in order to pay for the lease and insurance.
