Application

To apply for FOREIGN MAID'S WORK PERMIT, Clear photocopy of the following documents are needed:

1 Employer identity card

2 Spouse's identity card

3 Identity card or birth certificate of family members

4 The Employer and Spouse's (if any) Income Tax Notice Of  Assessment for current or previous Year Of Assessment, from The Controller Of Income Tax.

5 FDW Employer's Orientation Programme Certificate ( for 1st time Employer )

Registration for Employers' Orientation Programme

Employers can choose to do the Employers' Orientation Programme (EOP) in a classroom setting or online.

Employers must complete the EOP two working days before submitting their Work Permit (WP) Application. This is because records of EOP attendance will only be conveyed to MOM the day after employers have attended the EOP. Applications from employers submitted less than two days after attending the EOP will be rejected.

Employers and Employment agencies (EAs) must ensure that all the information submitted in the EOP registration and Work Permit application forms are identical (e.g. identification numbers, name, date of birth). This will allow MOM to match the identification of the person who has attended the EOP with the Work Permit applicant. Submitting different information in the EOP registration and WP application forms may result in the rejection of the WP application.
