(Note: This page gives an overview of NAG Notifier's features. To download NAG Notifier, visit the download page)

When you first open NAGNotifier, you will be asked to login. This is your standard TeacherEase login. It is not sent to anyone but www.TeacherEase.com

Enter your email address and password used to sign into TeacherEase. Leave Start with Windows checked to allow NAG Notifier to check for new grades and assignments automatically.

Press Submit to login.

While NAG Notifier is loading, a small popup will be shown on your desktop. You may still access your TeacherEase info while NAG Notifier is loading. Everything is updated once an hour.

If more than one student is enrolled under your account, you will have to choose which student you want to see the grades and assignments for. This can be changed later.

If you only have one student listed on TeacherEase, it will be chosen for you.

You are now done with the initial setup. Congratulations!

To access your grades and assignments, right-click the horse icon in the taskbar and choose an option.

Click the tabs at the top to change what's visible. Clicking any link in the Notes column will show more information on the selected assignment, if available.

Missing assignments are listed here, if you have any:

Grades are colored with green for A's, down to red for F's. The colors are customizable in Options.

When you have new grades or assignments, a popup will show.

The Account tab in options lets you choose which student to watch. You can also Logout, which clears the stored email and password.

The Notifications tab lets you change how NAG Notifier alerts you. Keep Start with Windows and Show notifications checked to be notified of new assignments and grades.

(Note: To access these tabs, you may have to click the blue More Options link)

You can customize the colors used to highlight grades or turn it completely off in the Highlighting tab. You also can customize how the currently due assignments are highlighted, or turn it off.

You can choose when NAG Notifier refreshes your TeacherEase information in the Update tab.

(Note: Reducing the amount of time to below 15 minutes may cause problems)

It is recommended to leave When an update to NAG Notifier is available on Ask.

You should always update NAG Notifier when an update is available.

If your computer is decently fast, you can enjoy a smoother experience by enabling animations.
