Invitation to Helsinki for the TraMeXI and NACP-RPC

Workshop on X-ray imaging dosimetry in November 2024

We are happy to announce that we will be collaborating with TraMeXI on their workshop on X-ray imaging dosimetry, which will take place in Helsinki in November this year. The structure of medical physicist education in the Nordics


Welcome to the NACP-RPC event on the structure of medical physicist education in the Nordics, on the 12th of April 2024 at 11:00 (CET). The event is free of charge for all participants and will take place digitally via Teams. This event aims to explore various aspects of medical physicist education today, focusing on the ways this education is conducted in the Nordic countries


Programme:

30 minute presentation from EFOMP by Veronica Rossetti

20 minute presentations from each of the following Nordic countries: Sweden (Sofie Ceberg), Denmark (Lars Jödal), Norway (Marit Funderud) and Finland (Petro Julkunen).

10 minute break

1 hour panel discussion

The last 5 minutes of each presentation will be dedicated to questions, and we also encourage all participants to send in questions to the presenters during the panel discussion.

This will generate an email with a link to the webinar, as well as a calendar entry. We recommend registering as soon as you know you will participate in the event.

We believe this webinar will offer a comprehensive insight into the current state of medical physicist education in the Nordics, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration. Therefore, we hope to see as many participants as possible from each of the Nordic countries!
