I appreciate your interest in my profile. This personal website posts information about my career, profession, research, and activities. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Houston, TX, USA. I am working at Applied Electromagnetics Laboratory under the NSF I/UCRC Center for EMC Research on RF Measurement and MRI Safety.
I am also working as an Assistant Professor (currently on study leave) at the Department of Electrical and Electrical Engineering, University of Dhaka (DU), Bangladesh. Previously, I completed my Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
My research interests include Medical Electromagnetic Compatibility, MRI Safety, and RF Measurement & Modeling.

March 2023: One paper titled "Factors Affecting the RF-induced Heating for the Electrodes Partially Inserted inside Human Body at 1.5T MRI" has been accepted for presentation at the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting in Portland, OR, on July 2023.
Feb 2023: One paper on MRI Safety with collaborators from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) titled "Use of Magnetic Materials to Mitigate RF-induced Heating in Active Implantable Medical Devices with 1.5T MRI" has been accepted for presentation at the 2023 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition in Toronto, Canada, on June 2023.
Feb 2023: My contributing paper with the collaborators from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) titled "Lead Insulation and Wavelength Effects on Active Implantable Medical Devices Heating under MRI at 1.5T and 3T using Transfer Function (TF) Modeling" has been accepted for presentation at the 2023 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition in Toronto, Canada, on June 2023.
Nov 2022: My contributing book chapter with the collaborator from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) titled "MRI Induced RF Heating Considerations for Devices and Accessories that are Partially-in and Partially-Out of the Human Body" has been accepted for publication by Wiley.

January 2020: Awarded National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship [Merit No: 522, SL. No. 305] from the Ministry of Science and Technology, The Government of Bangladesh, for the economic year 2019-20 (July 2019~June 2020).
December 23-24, 2019: Attended 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET) 2019.
May 2019: Awarded a research grant of 0.22 million USD as a co-investigator to establish a Machine Learning and IoT Lab and Control Engineering Lab at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the University of Dhaka from ICT- Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, The Government of Bangladesh.
