Summer Camp 2025

High school participants—our future engineers—brought incredible curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm as they explored CAD modeling, slicing software, and 3D printing. It was truly inspiring to see them dive in with questions, share ideas, and build prototypes that brought their visions to life. A special thank you to our incredible Graduate Assistants, H. K. Mahedi Azad and Vinod Kumar Darapureddy, for their dedication and support throughout the camp.

I am grateful to the School of Engineering, the College of Engineering and Innovation, and Bowling Green State University for their unwavering support in fostering STEM education and empowering the next generation of engineers.

Together, let’s keep cultivating the endless curiosity and inventive spirit of our future engineers!

NSF 2023 Workshop

This comprises our NSF summer team, focused on two projects involving 3D printing of bio-inspired design and soft actuators. I can not thank NSF RET program enough for not only fostering professional growth for K-12 teachers but also igniting a spark of curiosity and enthusiasm in students, as they witness the direct impact of scientific inquiry. Furthermore, it has afforded me the opportunity to work and collaborate with fellow colleagues, and empowering women in STEM field.

I've always felt good in aiding others, a sentiment I've cherished since childhood. The act of assisting has consistently brought blessings and fulfillment to my experiences of working with others.

It reminds me: The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
