I am Mykola Babiak, a Ph.D. candidate and a Junior Researcher at CERGE-EI (Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education - Economics Institute) in Prague the Czech Republic. During Fall 2017, I am a Visiting Research Scholar at Warwick Business School, where I am currently working on a joint project with Dr. Roman Kozhan.

My research interests lie at the intersection of asset pricing, macro-finance, and computational economics, mainly the role of less than fully rational decision-making in asset pricing. I am particularly interested in how investor's uncertainty and asymmetric preferences over gains and losses influence derivative prices and perceptions of economic risks.
