This privacy policy governs your use of the software application MyGreenVolt (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Frederic Risacher. The Application purpose is to read data from the OBD2 port of the Chevrolet Volt or Opel Ampera vehicles.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The hybrid vehicles mentioned above include a standard OBD2 port which can be used to read data using an OBD2 adapter plugged into the port and communication via bluetooth to the mobile devices.
Data collected as electric motor current and voltage, Battery state of charge, temperatures of different subsystem is presented and processed and displayed as user friendly charts. No data is written to the interface to change car's behavior, power or security.
User Provided Information
The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and install the Application.
Automatically Collected Information
Information may be collected for performance and debug purposes. The collected information as device type, Bluetooth adapter name, page load time do not include any details which could identify the user and is purely related to the application activity.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application may use GPS location but does not report these locations to remote server. The information are only used locally on the mobile device to show your trip.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

ERROR OR FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE.
