Vietnamese Meatloaf /cha trung hap
Makes 3 servings 1/2LB servings
1.5 lb ground pork or ground turkey
1 cup of soaked bean threads noodles
1/2 cup after soak of dried Black fungus mushroom
2 Green onion stalks (sliced)
2 small shallots (chopped)
2 eggs-for the meatloaf mixture
5 yellow eggs York for meatloaf topping
1.5 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
3 teaspoons of fish sauce
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper

Dried Mushroom Strips are in important ingredient in asian meatloaf. It adds flavoring and texture to your ground pork, turkey, chicken.
Prior to soaking, the mushroom strips have a strange appearance. Even after observing water they look kinda strange.
The actual name is Dried Fungus.
