Lettering criteria

MWST Lettering Requirements:

High School Athletes:

First Year- Numerals 

Second Year- Minor (JV) Letter

Third Year- Major (Varsity) Letter

Fourth Year- Chevron

SCTP Athletes: Shotgun Disciplines

SASP Athletes: Pistol/Riffle Disciplines

Athletes who compete in both shotgun and pistol/rifle pins will be awarded if athlete letters in both teams

**Letters will be awarded based upon the following Criteria**

SCTP

• Athletes will compete in the full conference season and two invitationals

• In the event of any absence the athlete must notify the head coach in advance.

• Participate and assist coaching staff as needed.

• Exhibit honorable and responsible behavior

SASP

• Participate in 80% of team practices and two SASP Invitationals

• In the event of any absence the athlete must notify the head coach in advance. 

• Participate and assist coaching staff as needed.

• Exhibit honorable and responsible behavior

Final Determination of letter eligibility will be made by the MWST Board of Directors at June’s Meeting.

We encourage each of our athlete to strive for continuous improvement throughout the season, as well as a commitment to being an active part of the team and remain in good standing with the team.  We expect the Varsity and Junior Varsity level athletes to participate at practice by assisting in Scoring, Pulling, and Loading trap houses.  

The Head Coach reserves the right to award extra points based on individual performance, on and off the line.
