Welcome to my personal web page!  My name is Marc Munsch and I am  a researcher in pure mathematics, specialized in number theory.
I am  Maître de conférences (Associate Professor) at the University Jean Monnet working in the Institut Camille Jordan.
Previously I was  Assistant Professor (RTDB) in Mathematical Analysis at the Department of Mathematics of University of Genova, supported by the 'Rita Levi Montalcini program for young researchers'.
Previously in 2019 I successfully applied for a stand-alone project P 33043 "Character sums, L- functions and applications" of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) which started in February 2020.
Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at TU Graz under the supervision of Christoph Aistleitner and before that I was a postdoctoral researcher at Université de Montréal. I defended my PhD Thesis at Université Aix-Marseille in December 2013.
I am particularly interested (but not only) in everything related to analytic, combinatorial and probabilistic number theory.
