ResponsiveEd Education Solutions is a Charter School organization serving two districts, Premier High Schools and Texas College Preparatory Academies. As Director of the Bilingual/ESL programs I served 77 campuses across Texas.

Accomplishments during my time as director:

• Established systems and processes for identification and program services for English Learners across both districts

• Developed action plan to move both districts into compliance within 3 years

• Provided training to superintendents, regional directors, and campus leaders on compliance and best practices for serving English Learners

• Classroom observations, feedback, and professional development recommendations for best instructional practices

• Created online Shelter Instruction training for classroom teachers serving English Learners through the RES Learning Management System

• Evaluated and provided recommendations for campus improvement for serving English Learners

• Filed Bilingual Exception and ESL Waiver for both districts.

• Developed alternative ESL program in accordance with the ESL Waiver

• Developed district improvement plan for raising ESL graduation rates for ADR with Premier High School district

• Successfully participated in TEA Validation of Title III funds for the Texas College Preparatory Academies district

• Evaluated instructional practices to identify professional development needs at campuses

• Provided professional development training to teachers on instructional best practices for supporting English Learners

• Changed ESL budget to allow for a teacher bonus program for ELAR and ESL Certification to move district towards compliance

• Developed and launched ESL Department website

• Increased parent, family, and community engagement through Title III budgeting changes

• Developed planning to launch the first Dual Language program for the 2021-2022 school year

• Created an online ESL Coordinator Manual and Administrator guide for program implementation
