Understanding the VLS Selection Process:
Rotary Club of Mulund follows 2 stage selection process.
Stage-1: Short listing for Personal Interview
The forms submitted by all the students are scrutinized.
A List of students is prepared for Personal Interview.
The Scrutiny Process considers the Family Information,
Academic Performance and suitability of the student for the Course.
Those shortlisted are informed about personal interview.
Stage-2: Personal Interview
Normally, student and parents are called for a personal interview.
Interviews take place in Mulund, Mumbai on a Sunday.
The Interview panel asks questions about family, academics, future plans etc.
Final selection is done based on the Interview Marks.
Last year 2023-24, the forms were collected in till 15th August 2023.
Interviews took place in September.
Scholarship was given in September Onwards..
This year (2024-25), we are accepting forms till Sunday, 25th August 2024.
The Interviews will take place on Sunday 10th September, in Mulund Mumbai.
Further information about Short Listing and Interviews will be communicated through email and WhatsApp.
The payment of Scholarship is normally done directly to the College.
However, if the selected student has already paid the fees, reimbursement is given to the student (Only in the year of Selection).
