Multilevel innovation networks (MIN) refers to using a multilevel approach in networks and innovation research. It comprises two major elements:

We believe MIN is a fruitful endeavour for deepening our understanding of how networks influence innovation. Single-level theory regarding networks and innovation has been well-developed whereas multilevel methods for empirical research have also matured. Nevertheless, very little research has been done on MIN (see above). We therefore aim to stimulate any work in this area.
