Short Bio

Muhammad Khalil Afzal (SM’16) received his B.S and M.S degrees in Computer Science from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Wah Campus, Pakistan in 2004 and 2007, respectively and his PhD. Degree from Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Yeungnam University, South  Korea, in December 2014. He has served as lecturer from January 2008 to November 2009 in Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Pakistan, and from December 2009 to June 2011 in King Khalid University Abha, Saudi Arabia. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science at COMSATS, Wah Cantt Pakistan. He is serving as a Guest Editor of Future Generation Computer Systems (Elsevier), IEEE ACCESS, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing (Springer), and reviewer for IEEE ACCESS, Computers and Electrical Engineering (Elsevier), Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Elsevier), FGCS, and IEEE transaction on Vehicular Technology. His research interest includes wireless sensor networks, ad hoc networks, Smart Cities, 5G, and IoT.
