Tomas de Goede is the owner of the Three Hogs Inn, a struggling family owned business that used to cater to hungry octopus hunters and fisherman during the glory days of Fauligmere's river economy. Now it is mostly empty and constantly harassed by the van Berkels. Tomas and his lovely wife Emma had five children.

"I'd like to think that if Karel were here he'd be happy to see us all... getting along so well, that boy had a good heart..."

Journal Notes

Karel, the eldest son is a sharp, tender boy who since birth has had run ins with visions and fever. The remaining four girls are Sera, Miriam, Margaret and Mary. After the chilling events of the Fauligmere curse. Karel was left ill and eventually perished of unknown disease. Tomas was never the same and Emma struggled to maintain the now bustling Three Hogs Inn.
Claes and Nadia van Berkel have taken to watching the girls as a show of unity and for reparations for years of abuse. After Karel's death the two families have become close, resilient friends to each other and the community.
Miriam, always the odd one, has taken to reading Saskia's old tomes as a way to deal with Karel's death despite her mother's concerns. Tomas was meant to speak with her but she had taken a shine to a High Elf Wizard that had saved Fauligmere from attack. Thinking better to allow children their dreams, and Elves their students, he left it be.
