Sebastien Brenner is a stocky man in late middle age. He has auburn hair, mean eyes and a permanent scowl. He wears clean, practical clothes that display his station as he owns the Thunderwater Inn and Brewery. His persona is cold and distant. His wife Madriga died two months ago but he bears the loss with admirable stoicism. Not a hint of grief.

Sebastien has three sons, the eldest, Klaus is an a jovial fellow with a head as bald as an egg and well-rounded girth. His younger boys, Freiderich and Hans manage the bar in shifts and their eldest brother the day-to-day of the inventory and tabs.
