Chlodwig is a young initiate who was meant to help the Shallyan temples but was instead misplaced under Magnus Gottschalk at the altar of Sigmar. He spent his days lighting candles, scrubbing floors or dusting relics. After the events brought on by Niklas Schullman and Lazarus Mourn, he has been hardened into a true fighter under the protection of both Magnus and seemingly, Sigmar himself. Though he has lost an eye and taken many terrible injuries in just a few months since he has begun, he is a steadfast man who has proven himself both capable and courageous.

Journal Notes

Since Magnus' decline, Chlodwig has taken on a role as successor to the aging priest, even though he could never fill the post of such a celebrated community leader and admired warrior of old. Even so, Chlodwig's resilient, undeterred nature means he shrugs off Magnus' bellowing criticisms of his sermons and battle-form with a shrug and a smirk. Knowing full well that he was chosen before a swath of more capable and experienced Priests by specific request of Magnus alone. Soon he will be gone, and it will be up to Father Fromm to stir and rally the men of the Empire in the face of the ruinous powers. A gift from Magnus he both cherishes and resents in equal measure.
