Kessler has a thin, humorless face and a long waxed moustache. Kessler was a sergeant in an Altdorf regiment until he lost a decent portion of his skull to a javelin. Handicapped, he was lucky to land a job as Stromdorf's watch captain, a post left empty for years. He despises fools and time-wasters, and folks fear his barbed tongue. He is utterly loyal to the Empire though, and will not let the town rot on his watch.
