Alon de Salazar Frias has an ambiguous past which seems to change with each retelling. As a black dog, even within the ranks of the Cult of Sigmar he is seen as a cold, sharp instrument. His lack of sympathy and utter precision and efficiency borders on supernatural. The man has no issue with torture and yet unlike some of his brethren, seems to take no pleasure from it's implements.

Alon rose to infamy as the hunter who slayed famed Hedge Wizard Surgei Nova, the Dowser of Kurst. This Ostlander apostate was the scourge of the forests and hamlets of the north for many years until caught, questioned and quartered by De Salazar. Since then, he has been known to be interested only in those higher practitioners of Dhar, and seems less inclined to bring glorious vindication upon greenskin, cultist or beastmen whom he sees as the symptom, not the cause.
