I am a labour economist interested in human capital. Topics I study include college access, non-financial barriers to education, and peer effects. My research combines experimental, quasi-experimental, and structural econometric methods to evaluate public policies and their optimal design.
I share insights on education policy with policymakers and practitioners.
At UCL, I won the 2019 Provost's Education Award (awarded to 10 out of around 8,000 faculty) for outstanding contributions to education. Read my blog posts here, here, and here.
