Research
I am a labour economist interested in education, economic opportunity and inequality. My research examines how institutions, incentives, beliefs and social interactions shape individuals' choices and life outcomes. I combine large-scale data, causal inference methods and economic theory to understand these mechanisms and inform the design of public policies.
Teaching
I teach quantitative methods and a broad range of applied economics topics at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and have been recognised for excellence in teaching with UCL's Provost's Education Award (awarded annually to 10 out of around 8,000 faculty).
