Summer Assignment 2023

The summer has flown by so quickly.   I just received my preliminary rosters today, so the new school year is not far behind.  I have posted some links to lesson videos that I have posted on YouTube to help you get through the self-teaching of kinematics (part 2) portion of the summer assignment.  Hopefully, these videos will help you get through that portion of the summer assignment and get us off to a good start for covering the rest of the year.   You are only responsible for learning about the basics of kinematics.  The videos linked below cover the topics that you are responsible for.  If you wish to go farther ahead and learn about motion graphs, go ahead, we will get there fairly quickly (and it does tend to be a difficult topic for many students).  At the moment, I do not have a video for lesson #2 on displacement.  For whatever reason when I was making the other videos, I skipped this lesson and never got back to it.  Maybe I will find the opportunity to make one between now and the start of the school year.

You can also use the Physics and Honors Physics link to the left and then click on Kinematics after that.  This will take you to the page address that is also given with the summer assignment.  All of these links will be helpful to you as you will eventually be responsible for everything on that page (and then some).  These pages are all under a permanent state of flux as we add material (plus Google Sites went through a conversion, which altered the formatting, and needs updating).  The difference with this page is that all the content was created by others or culled off the internet.  You have the power and information of the internet available to you.  Make use of it.
