  • 2018 Student Leadership Clinic Information
The Lancaster County Marching Band Coalition is bringing Scott Lang (scottlang.net), a heavily sought-after and well respected student leadership trainer, to the Lancaster area for a student leadership workshop! The event will take place on Monday, February 26 from 5:30-7:30 PM. The event will be hosted by the Ephrata Marching Band at Ephrata Middle School and will involve students from high schools throughout Lancaster, Lebanon, York, and Berks county.

This is going to be an amazing evening that will give you a complete understanding of what is expected of student leaders and have you "pumped" for the upcoming fall band season! These seminars are high energy workshops built to educate, build confidence, and prepare you for the challenging road ahead.

Participation by Manheim Township students is limited to the first 40 students who register using this form. Attendance for leadership candidates is highly encouraged but please note: Musical Rehearsal for Cinderella is scheduled for this date and time. If you are committed to the musical you should uphold that commitment; you may still apply for leadership in the marching band organization if you do not attend this clinic due to the musical.

There is no cost to participate in the seminar, thanks to the support of our amazing MT Marching Band Boosters. The only things you must provide are your own transportation to and from Ephrata Middle School, a pen/notebook, and your positive enthusiasm for our activity and our organization. Remember, to be early is to be on time (please note: late arrivals will not be admitted once the workshop has begun!)

Again, only the first 40 students who register will be able to attend. Registering for this workshop is a COMMITMENT that you must take seriously. Do not register unless you are committed to attending and plan to be the very best leader that you can be! Mr. Siegel will email you to confirm your registration to and to give you additional information.

  • Amazon Donates to MTMB!
MTMBB recently signed-on with Amazon Smile, a simple and automatic way for you to support the students of the Manheim Township Marching Band every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same prices, selection and shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate .5% of the purchase price to the band! Tens of millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.

To shop at AmazonSmile simply go to smile.amazon.com from the web browser on your computer or mobile device. On your first visit to AmazonSmile you will need to select “Manheim Township Marching Band Boosters” as the charitable organization to have Amazon make their donations from eligible purchases to our band (do this before you begin shopping). Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make after that will result in a donation for our students.

Thanks very much everyone! Please let Brian Dombach, MTMBB Co-President, know if you have any questions.
