Deciding to purchase a home is one of the biggest decisions you will make in your life. There are so many things to think about before you purchase a home such as monthly payment, term of the loan, size and features of a home. Below are listed some features to consider.

· What size home do you want and how many bedrooms do you want.

· What year was the house built

· Does the house have a yard? Do you want a yard to take care of?

· How many bathrooms do you want?

· Is a fireplace important to have?

· Do you want a garage and if so how big? (1,2, or 3 car etc.)

In order to buy a home you will have to:

1. Go house hunting and find a home.
2. Compare mortgage rates at different banks so you can get the best deal.
3. Determine how much your monthly mortgage payment will be (remember to not go over 30% of your monthly budget)
