Problem 1:
There are 100 animals at Will’s farm; he has only chickens and piglets. He has at least one of each. They are worth a total of $100. Piglets are worth $7, and chickens are worth $0.75. What possible combination could make this work? Is there more than one solution!
Problem 2 – (SUPER CHALLENGE!!!!)
There are 100 animals at Will’s farm; he has only goats, chickens and piglets. He has at least one of each. They are worth a total of $100. Goats are worth $10, piglets are worth $1, and chickens are worth $0.50. What possible combination could make this work? Is there more than one solution?
